Description

KEM - FOT is a liquid compound containing solvents, dispersants and surface active agents, which solves effectively all pre-combustion problems.

Application

KEM - FOT prevents stratification of fuel in tanks, limits sludge and tank bottom deposits maintaining clean lines and separators, provides anticorrosion protection by acids or salt water contamination and finally improves injector spray patterns keeping filters unblocked.

Advantages

KEM - FOT stabilizes fuel blends, reducing incompatibility problems, accelerates the rate of combustion, forms a protective film on metal surfaces, prevents ashaltic matter in the fuel from agglomerating, demulsifies water from fuel and aids centrifugal separation.

Usage

KEM - FOT is to be introduced into the storage tank before bunkering manually or automatically. Typical dose rates vary between 1:2000 and 1:5000 depending on the viscosity of the fuel oil used.

KEM – DP – FOT

Liquid product with catalysts which improves the pre and post combustion stages. Reduces the formation of Carbon, Sulfur and Vanadium deposits.

Applications

KEM-DP-FOT solves effectively all pre and post - combustion problems in middle distillates and heavy fuel oil.

KEM-DP-FOT is ideal for steam boilers and diesel engines.

Advantages

In precombustion stage KEM-DP-FOT dissolves all existing sludge, emulsifies the water, inhibits corrosion on the system and keeps atomizers tips clean.

In post combustion stage, promotes the complete combustion of carbon resulting in a direct increase in combustion efficiency, retards the oxidation of sulfur dioxide to the corrosive sulfur trioxide, reduces deposits build-up and keeps engine and exhaust components cleaner giving longer service life.

Usage

KEM-DP-FOT is completely oil - soluble and can be added by a metering pump or added to the settling tank. The dosage depends upon the quality of the fuel to be treated.

As a general guide, initial dosage recommendation is 1 liter of KEM-DP-FOT for 2000 liters of heavy fuel oil. Further dosages down to 1:4000 may be adequate based on operating experience and results.

ANTIFROZEN DP–FOT

Description

ANTIFROZEN-DP-FOT is a liquid compound containing solvents, dispersants, surface active agents, combustion catalysts combined with flow improvers and pour point depressant for middle distillates.

Applications

ANTIFROZEN-DP-FOT is a modification of KEM-DP-FOT containing in addition flow improvers and pour point depressant.

It also solves effectively all the pre and post - combustion problems when is used as a combustion improver. In this case a recommended rate 1 liter per 4.000 liters is adequate to solve all the combustion problems.

ANTIFROZEN-DP-FOT is added to the middle distillates at addition rates of 200- 5000 ppm. The actual injection rate depends on the composition of the middle distillate and is characterized by the cloud point, the boiling range, the type and amount of paraffins, and other parameters.

ANTIFROZEN OIL-25

Pour point depressant.

Description

ANTIFROZEN OIL-25 is a liquid product, flow improver and pour point depressant for middle distillates. ANTIFROZEN OIL-25 D6 is soluble in aliphatic and aromatic solvents and insoluble in water.

Applications

ANTIFROZEN OIL-25 considerably improves the flow properties of middle distillates at low temperatures. ANTIFROZEN OIL-25 acts as a crystallization modifier for higher n-paraffins. It prevents the formation of a coherent network of paraffin wax crystals with the result that the cold filter plugging point (CFPP) and the pour point of the middle distillate are considerably reduced.

ANTIFROZEN OIL-25 is added to the middle distillates at addition rates of 200-5000 ppm. The actual injection rate depends on the composition of the middle distillate and is characterized by the cloud point, the boiling range, the type and amount of paraffins and other parameters.

ANTIFROZEN OIL-25 is added to the settling tank with fuel to ensure the homogenous dissolution of the material.

The exact reduction of pour point and cloud filter plugging point and injection rate depends on the type and the quality of the fuel and could be performed by trials.

In a proportion of 1 liter in 2.500 liters diesel:

Decreases the pour point from: -9 ^oC to – 27 ^oC approximately.

Decreases the cloud filter plugging point from: - 5 C to – 10 ^oC approximately.

In a proportion of 1 liter in 1000 liters diesel:

Decreases the pour point from: -9 ^oC to – 30 ^oC approximately.

Decreases the cloud filter plugging point from: - 5 C to – 14 ^oC approximately.

In a proportion of 2 liters in 1000 liters diesel:

Decreases the pour point from: -9 ^oC to – 34 ^oC approximately.

Decreases the cloud filter plugging point from: - 5 ^oC to – 22 ^oC approximately

By increasing the dosage, the pour point and the filter plugging point are decreased.
