SANITATION SYSTEM TREATMENT Concentrated liquid assists in keeping drains, taps and lines clean and clog free.
Code : 021100 | | (SDS)
Description
BIO-TREAT LIQUID is a stable concentrated liquid blend of living aerobic and anaerobic bacteria specially selected and adapted for their ability to produce enzymes necessary for degradation of sanitation wastes. All bacteria used in BIO- TREAT LIQUID is naturally occurring, nongenetically engineered, and has been subjected to stringent antibiotic screening. Therefore it is safe for usage. By formulating bacterial strains, which produce large amounts of enzymes, BIO-TREAT LIQUID when used on a routine basis will supplement the bacteria normally present and thereby degrade waste materials faster and better.
Application
BIO-TREAT LIQUID can be applied by slug dosing or metering directly into the sewage tank (i.e. Marine Sanitation Device (MSD), Collection, Holding and Transfer system (CHTS) or other type of holding tank).
A more convenient method is to apply directly to galley and toilet facilities (e.g. commodes, sink, shower and scuppers) as a pH neutral cleaner to replace harsh acid, caustic and bleach based products which are all highly harmful to the normal operation of any biological system.
BIO-TREAT LIQUID performs within a pH range of 5.5-8.5 and a temperature range of 10-44o C. Extremes of pH and temperature, as well as wide shifts in either parameter over a short period of time should be avoided.
Usage
Sewers – Holding Tanks : An initial dosage of 1 liter of BIO-TREAT LIQUID per 1000 liters of tank capacity should be added directly to the holding tank and allow at least 24 hours after the initial application for the system to become properly activated.
For maintenance a dosage of 0,25 liter per 1000 liters of additional waste should be added every 7 – 10 days.
Drains – Sewage Lines : When used as a cleaner about 100 ml. of BIO-TREAT LIQUID should be applied every 8 – 10 days to each bowl, sink and drain in the same manner as with any janitorial type cleaner.
Note: When used as a cleaner, BIO-TREAT LIQUID will achieve the maximum results partly due to eliminating line blockage.
